Effective January 1, 2026, all publications across our global platforms will adopt a fully open and decentralized model, inspired by the principles of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) in the cryptocurrency space. Under DeCo, every piece of content from LabNews Media LLC – including articles, analyses, reports, and investigative pieces – may be freely used, reproduced, syndicated, or republished worldwide by any media outlet, organization, or individual, at no cost and without prior permission.
This means: No licensing fees. No paywalls for syndication. No restrictions on global dissemination. Our content on labnews.io (life sciences, biotechnology, and digital health), pugnalom.io (environmental protection, species conservation, and renewable energies), defense-news.io (defense technologies, geopolitics, and security), and augenauf.blog (investigative reporting on systemic issues) will be available for unrestricted adoption by newspapers, broadcasters, blogs, aggregators, and digital platforms everywhere.
Phase 1 of DeCo launches immediately on January 1, 2026, making our evidence-based journalism a truly public resource – a deliberate counter to the consolidation of traditional news agencies and the barriers that limit the free flow of information.
In Phase 2, also commencing in January 2026, we will begin publishing all new content additionally on a blockchain network. Blockchain timestamping and hashing will make tampering evident and authenticity verifiable by anyone, anywhere – fortifying trust in an age of deepfakes and disinformation.
